5-10-11 Gianna's Kickoff at Walmart

This was the day I was waiting for! My Kickoff party as the 2011 Childrens Miracle Network Champion for New Jersey. It was so exciting! It was sponsored by Walmart and there were so many people there that were important to me. There was family, friends, teachers, counselors, and therapists there. I was really surprised when Miss Monmouth County, Katie Revier, presented me with a crown to show I was a true champion. The best part of it all was the employees at Walmart! They were so happy to have me there! It was really a very special day! Thank You!

4-16-11 Ramapo Dance Marathon

Now this is how to have a great time! Everyone worked so hard to raise money for the Childrens Miracle Network! Miss New Jersey came and judged the dance contest! I was so lucky to meet so many college students that truly cared about their cause. It felt like a real concert when I sang for them!

4-10-11 Ethan Bortnick

Ethan, you are amazing! You brought so many smiles to everyones faces in the Hospital with your private piano concert! Today I met my new friends Ariana and Briana!

4-7-11 Soul Surfer

Tonight all my friends and I got together to raise awareness for Childrens Specialized Hospital to preview "Soul Surfer" the night before it's nationwide release. It was such an inspiration to all of us! Bethany Hamilton is truly amazing!

4-6-11 Renaissance Womens Club Wine and Cheese Tasting

This was really a fun party to raise money for the hospital! I met a lot of really nice people and the DJ was great too! I had the opportunity to share my story with everyone and sing on stage for them too! I'm so glad the Renaissance Women chose us as their charity!

3-1-11 National Pancake Day!

What an exciting day! March 1st is National Pancake Day! IHOPs all around the country give free short stacks of pancakes in exchange for a donation to the Childrens Miracle Network! Sean and Sue from WOBM radio were broadcassting live from Toms River IHOP. We started there and then went to Brick IHOP, Neptune IHOP, and then back to Brick again. The employees at IHOP worked non-stop for hours and hours making this all possible! So proud of my hometown IHOP in Brick who was #1 in the country raising money for the Childrens Miracle Network! Miss New Jersey spent the day with us flipping pancakes too- she is amazing!
